My name is Ethan Spector and I graduated from Sonoma State in the Spring of 2014 with a B.A. in environmental studies with a concentration in urban planning. As an undergrad I was President of the Greek Community and AEPi, along with being the student assistant to the sports information director.
Since my graduation, I moved back home to Los Angeles where I volunteer with the Occidental college athletic department doing all of their social media outreach and work fulltime as a surety analyst at Aon in Downtown Los Angeles.
I still try to stay connected to my Sonoma roots. I keep in touch with the current AEPi members, providing help when I can. They tell me that Hillel is going well and they are helping out.
Hillel played a huge role in my college experience. It was my first club I became a part of. It was my first Sonoma State experience, as it is for many students. Going away to school was terrifying but Hillel felt like home.
Over the course of four years, Hillel became that stable place where my friends and I could go and hangout, be ourselves, and help make a homecooked meal. I was able to grow a lot from my experiences.
