Samantha Mazo

Sam is from Burbank, Ca and is a third year at Sonoma state university. She is studying to become a human development major and eventually work with kids with disabilities. Samantha works at a Jewish sleep away camp in Malibu and loves her jewish identity. She is very excited to be apart of this Hillel team.

Sara Feinman

My name is Sara Feinman, born and raised in San Diego, and I am currently a Sophomore Women and Gender Studies major. I am very passionate about feminism, politics, animal rights, health, Judaism, and education.  In 2017 I interviewed for the Jacob’s International Teen Leadership Institution (JITLI), and traveled to Israel for 3 weeks to meet up with  Israelis Bedouin Muslims in efforts to understand each other in ways we never could and open up a dialogue between the two religions and cultures.

Oren Gremberg

My name is Oren Gremberg. I am from Los Angeles, CA. I am 22 and am a junior at SSU. I transferred here in the spring of 2018 and am a Computer Science major. I love sports and can watch and talk about them for hours. I game a little but mostly sports games. I have worked at an overnight jewish summer camp for 6 years. I am American born but first generation as my whole family immigrated here from Israel. I am super stoked to be part of the Hillel team this year.

Cole Bobbit

My name is Cole Bobbitt, and I am from Los Angeles! In my free time I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with my fraternity brothers. Every day I try to be an upstanding member of the Jewish community, specifically here at Sonoma State University. My favorite Jewish memory would have to be having all of my family at my bar mitzvah. I am exited to be apart of such an amazing organization!

Samantha Cortez

My name is Samantha Cortez. I am from Redondo Beach, CA. I am 21 and a Senior at Sonoma State University. My major is Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. My hope is to attend grad school after graduation and become a Pediatric Physical Therapist. Back home I work as a lifeguard, swim instructor and a coach. In the past 3 years at Sonoma State I have been involved with rowing, club water polo, 3 Winns and was on the women’s water polo team for 2 years.
